Everyone in the Gulf of Mexico, LOOK THE F*CK OUT!! Grab some shelter and stay safe. It's going to be a helluva first half week for the gulf states. Especially Louisiana if it follows the current expected paths. Plus the Mississippi River may back up and spread over the banks, so get somewhere safe!

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. A Cat 1 is still capable of doing some serious damage besides flooding. Geez, even a tropical storm can wreak havoc.
Be safe out there people. It looks like we might be spared in Florida. I've never seen a dual system like that before, but I guess no one else has either.

I don't know about the rest of the areas, but here in NC, a cat 1 is just an annoyance....
