trunk hinges

how do they come off i need to replace mine on my 86 buick regal but how?

It's been a while since I've taken the trunk lid off a G-body, but if I recall correctly, there is a threaded insert that slides into the hinge, and that's what the bolts fasten to. You should be able to replace that, as opposed to replacing the whole assembly.

ive looked at it a couple times but still cant figure out how to take the hinges off
