trunk pop solenoid

I don't have a diagram but it is a basic system. The power comes from the fuse box to the button in the glovebox then back to the popper in the trunk. The system is grounded through the trunklid back to the body.
 
Ok so a relay isn't necessary. And is the power wire constant or ignition. I rewired my car with painless so im trying to mirror the factory setup.
 
mine must be wired in with the PN switch as it will only open the trunk when the car is in park and running
