i was just kinda curious if it was an easy fix, kinda sounds that way i will have to get on it on my days off. O and i lock my glove box but theres where my mp3 player is that is connected to my stereo. The only time i have to take it out is when i want to add more songs or w/e cuz the stereo controls it.

Maybe this was a year change then... My parent's 87, as well as my 84 had them on a switched source. Those that have seen constant source - what year were the cars?

...I wired mine direct, but I'm not worried about people getting in my trunk - other than some cheaparse tools and a spare tire, there's nothing to be found. Definitely not something you want if you have a nice stereo or something. The switch is also in an unconventional place that they likely wouldn't notice...

strange indeed, my 1980 Cutlass, Freinds 79 Cutlass, my 84SS, and friends 86SS are all switched. Maybe it's another Canadian thing 🙂

However I seem to recall my '83 Delta 88 was "hot" all the time though as I can remember locking my keys in the truck ( I dropped them when putting in a case of beer !! ) and my buddy just opened the door and popped the truck from the switch while I was trying to take out the back seat.
