Turbo-Hydramatic 350 fit? Install tips?

I found a th350 with the BOP pattern!

Can I reuse the dipstick tube and stick from my th200? or do I need for find those parts?

Pretty sure it is different. The universal locking dipstick are around $20. They are right length as is for the TH350, they need cut for other transmissions. Go 2000-2200 stall for a mild motor.

Update:

Got a rebuilt TH350 from a shade tree re-builder. Included in the deal is a torque converter that stalls at ~2100. Can't wait to get it installed!

glad to hear you found one with the BOP bolt pattern... i was going to tell you, you could easily get a chevy to bop adapter plate for like $30... but, since u found a trans with bop, my info is useless... lol

The Torque Converter included in the sale is the wrong style 🙁

The current one has large flanges like this

the the flange sits on the flexplate weight so it doesn't sit even. I didn't see this during the install because the weight was on the top side out of site.

the style I need is more of the peg mount like what this guy is installing

So now I have to dismount the transmission and change the converter. So much work being undone.
