Ok so I know some of you will shun me or disagree with it but I found out today that my boss has a Buick 231 turbo V6 for sale. Well I asked him if he'd be willing to trade it for my 1969 327ci and he said yes!!!! Well I've got a couple questions for you guys so here they are.
1. Will the turbo v6 be a direct bolt in? (I currently have a 231 n/a in my car)
2. Will my th350 bolt up to the turbo v6? (or should I just go with a OD trans such as 200r4 or 700r4?)
3. What should I change out if I were to put the turbo v6 in?
4. If the th350 does work with the turbo v6 will I need to change my gear ratio? (current is 2.41)
5. Will I need a different drive shaft?

I'm not looking to make a drag car out of this. I'm going more for a streetable car with decent gas milage and makes a good amour of power. Also I don't want to put a chevy engine in my olds. I keep it Buick.

Thanks in advance for the help much appreciated because im still somewhat new to car building.

ive never done the swap but i would say it would fit right in go for it turbo g bodys 8) i would go with the 200r4 go along thr lines of the gn

It alot of work you need the under hood/dash wireing harness computer need to put fuel pump in tank etc etc. Unless your talking a carbed turbo6? Me personsly would stick with the sbc the turbo 231 are know for popping headgasket when pushed hard. I own both and next step for my gn is sbc if it pops again more of a headache then its worth.

What year, & does your boss have an unbutchered harness & fuel tank available?
