My right turn signal is hard to click on. As soon as the wheel moves it shuts off. I replaced the switch and that was not the problem. Anyone else have this problem?

Search for my post. My 78 turn signal switch was giving me problems. It was the pivot pin the switch pivots on. I was not able to press the switch down and it did not hold. Eventually it broke the spring. I replaced the spring, and the turn signal switch and had a mechanic fix the pivot pin.

I read the link. I'm assuming I have to pull off the lever to get to this pin. I didnt go that deep I just replaced the switch, put it back together and it didn't work. I have to almost force the lever up but it shuts off with the slightest left turn of the wheel. This is a g body 4 speed column so i do need it.
