TV Cable HELP PLEASE!!!

i have a 87 cutlass with a th350/350 chevy the Tv cable is too long, also can someone tell me where i hook my vacume line from the transmission too? thanks bryan

vacuum line hooks up to the carb or manifold vacuum port.

Just to clarify, with a TH-350 you don't have a TV cable, you have a basic kickdown cable. Unlike the TH-200/TH-2004R/TH-700R4 transmissions who's TV cable actually adjusts the line pressure of the trans, yours is controlled by the vacuum modulator.

ok so i guess if its not a tv cable that comes from the transmission,what is it called just a kick down cable? if so what cable do i need? cause the one i have is too long .

they make adjustable ones i would look on summit

Or just leave it off. Th350's do not "need" the cable hooked up, you'll just have to manually downshift. Gregg
