Looking for a quality u-joint, not Chinese junk. Are the Moog HMG235 U-joints any good? If not, what else is out there? How about the ones sold at NAPA?

I have used Precision U joints. From what I remember they were USA made. Haven't purchased any since about 2007 so who knows if they are still made here. Anyway they were a nice piece. Put them in both driveshafts of my 95 k1500 that was used as a wood hauler in the winter. Lots of abuse never broke a u joint.
The Napa aka Precision U-Joints work really well....I've had the same U-Joint in my car for the past two years with no issues....
I use Napa as well..I have the conversion in the rear so Napa is about the only place that has them up here
The ACDelco joints are actually made here :lol: 89029290 (greasable) at your local jobber or gm dealer (they still use the same joint in some of todays trucks) $18. Or you could pony up for the GM joint also USA made 12479126 (non greasable). ready?

Oldsmoletick, you sure those AC Delco's are US made? It's my understanding that all Delco stuff is now just China crap like everything else is. Of course they used to be a quality made in USA brand, but the good 'ol days are long gone thanks to the greed of corporate America.

Seems the NAPA joints are a good way to go, but rest assured if there is one bad U-joint in a whole batch of 1000's made, that's going to be the one I get.....

Yup I'm sure, much of acd has gone overseas, but not all of it, there are still a few select things made here.
