I greased the GP today and I have 4 UMI Roto joints in the rear control arms, 2 on the UMI conversion uppers and 2 on the UMI lower control arms that I installed 4 summers ago. The Roto joints needed very little grease which means the grease I put in last summer didn't go anywhere and that means the Roto joints are in great shape and have no play in them. I'm not that gentle on my GP so I think those Roto joints are a quality product and really do the job they are intended for.....🙂

Mine are the same, they take very little grease...
I'm not that gentle on my Monte either LOL

They take 2 initial pumps, then you cycle them, add one (or two) more if they will take them - and just check every oil change from there. I actually bought the spanner wrench this time for the wagon.

I have them on the upper of my 86 monte.when I bought them years ago they looked like a quality product at an affordable price so I bought solid lowers and rotojoint adjustable uppers.after about a year I had a terrible clunk in the rear of the car and noticed that the rotojoint had come apart on the driver side.i took it off (not easy in my application)and simply put it back together with locktite .about a yr later the same thing happened on the other side.this time I went online and saw that they had added a setscrew and milled grooves in the housing to prevent them from backing out.i also read that this had happened to others and that they were sent out a new rotojoint to fix the problem with the old one.
I also had to take a cold chisel to the treads on mine to ensure they did not come apart again.
when I called they said that I had bought them too long ago and that they would not warranty it anymore.
I also emailed them and sent a pic of how I had to chisel the threads to make sure it stayed together.
his response was "it looks like you've done a nice repair on them"
I just said fine to myself and just dropped it there .ill live with it as long as it doesn't come apart again.
fast forward to the beginning of this yr and I needed to get new bushings for the lowers without rotojoints.
I looked on summit but they had no listing for them but new ones did come with bushings.
summit called them and they said that they had changed sizes so many times from the beginning that they could not sell bushings for them separately.
then I called umi and he gave me a pn for the bushing after I gave him the housing size.
this number was cast in the bushing and made by energy suspension.
I called energy suspension and they told me that number was for a bushing exclusive to umi but they stopped ordering from them because they went with something more standard.
I like the product I got from umi but after my experience with them I will never buy from them again.
