I just did about what you are wanting to do on my 87 El camino I used UMI front lowers and their front 1 1/4 sway bar , I put stock rebuilt uppers on the front with urethane bushings and new ball joints , I bought all new steering linkage (Moog ) from Northern Auto Parts cheaper by far than any I had found . For springs I put 5660 Moog up front with 1/2 a coil cut off and that put it right at a inch below stock and on the rear I put a set of 5413 springs ( they are double pigtail like the G bodys and are for a 69 Chevelle ) , Jegs rear non adjustable Uppers ( gives more room than stock for larger exhaust I wanted to put on it ( 3 inch with a
Grand National bend on the Tail pipes) and I had picked up some stock rear lowers that had been powder coated & rebuilt along with a stock sway bar that was powder coated also . My fender heights at center of wheel wells are :
Front with 225 70 15 tires is 25 3/4
Rear with 275 60 15 tires and no air in my coil spring bags is 26 3/8
I forgot to mention I put Air lift bags in the rear coil springs in case I need the extra height for a load and if you use them I would suggest you run separate lines to the bags ( if I put about 10-15 psi in the bags it brings the rear height to about 27 inches.
Just a fyi in case you didn't know or maybe it will help somebody else who reads this post :
When you do your uppers make sure to keep the shims separated so you can put them back where the came from so you can drive it to get it aligned and also take your steering linkage apart as a whole and measure your new one off of it and that will get it close enough to drive to get it aligned also when you get it aligned ask them to set it to desired specs not just within specs.
