Under car rattle when cold

great, thank you- now for the fun part- finding one anyone know the gm or delco part # for an 83 307 y code ????
or an interchange that fits and works

Cold rattle sensor defect. Autozone next to muffler bearings and down from the skyhook section

I would just make a cover plate with a gasket and seal it up. Wouldn't hurt anything and probably help performance
But what do I know

I got a new nos valve, 2 bolt flange ( seller was an old auto supply that had paper catalogs & said it was correct (83 307 y code) but cant find any listings for gaskets- what is the part # os source for gaskets (if any) before I dismantle it?? thanks

it's not an egr valve- cant cover up exhaust pipe
