my wipers dont work on the new cutty and im thinking it could be one of these two plugs. i cant find exactly where they go, the column is foreign to this car, i do know that, and it could also be the motor since they go bad a lot... im switching the motor later but id still like to get these put where they go. any clue?

Is the column from a G Body?
I might have the wiring drawing if it's a G body column.

I don't know what those are, but they have nothing to do with wipers. Probably for an unused option. The wiper harness is thin and wide, with 5 plugs, 4 or 5 wires, usually grey, pink, green, purple, and white or black, depending on year and application.

strange then.. because i replaced the fuse, AND the wiper motor, and they still dont work. i need that in order to pass inspection...

Could be the switch in the column. There are several types and they don't interchange. What year car and what year column?

87' is a positive switched system. That means 12v goes to the column switch. Find the harness on the middle of the column at the same spot the directionals/ignition harness comes out from the plastic protector. Look for the wiper harness connector and there should be a white wire in the harness. That is the 12v power. Disconnect it and use a test light to see if it's getting 12v with the car in "run". If so, reconnect it and work the switch while probing the connector to see if the switch is working. Also, a delay switch will not work with a non delay system and vice-versa.

A huge problem with column swaps is the mismatch of wiper switches, and you must have the correct switch for your system. If the stalk says "delay" then you "may" have a delay switch in there. The motor must also be for a delay system. If you bought a non-delay motor, then you must use a non-delay switch. Confusing and expensive.
