It puts out around 350 hp and a little over 400 ft lbs of torque. It's pretty much identical to one Comp Cams has on it's website (compression, heads, intake, cam...) and that's what theirs made. I also plugged my combo into the Dyno 2000 engine sim to pick the cam, and these are the numbers I got from it. It idles at 650-750 RPM pretty smoothly and has excellent power from off idle. I run a rev limiter in my MSD HEI module set at 6500 RPM, but I shift it at 5500RPM.I rarely ever use more than 1/4 throttle unless I drive it in anger.I would rather build the TH200 4R than go to a TH700 R4. I don't like the gearing in the 700,nor the mods needed to make it fit.Plus, the 200 still shifts fine. I just have to deal with the noise in the not too distant future. It's not a drag car, it is set up to carve corners and be used for commuting and long trips ( well....when it's done it will be...). I never run slicks on it, nor would I ever plan to. My performance goals are something like :18 mpg city, 24 hwy, mid 13's in the 1/4, 0.95g in the skidpad and 60-0 in under 120 feet. It gets 16 MPG city right now, and tomorrow night I plan on running it down the 1/8 mile to see if it will break through the 9.00 barrier with no posi on street tires.Oh, and it HAS TO run a Quadrajet and an HEI( personal prefrence) and look like GM built it under the hood(No chrome or shiny stuff). It also has to have A/C, Cruise, P/S, P/W, P seat, intermittent wipers, tilt wheel, big stereo, etc. As you can see, it's not a radical car. I may upgrade the trans in the future, but I want a T-56 if I do ( at which time I would also put in a set of Recaro seats and a console). I only have an automatic now because of cost considerations.
