upgrading a 2004r

i just got a used 2004r trany from a monte ss,what upgrades should i do to it?i want to shift kit it.i well not be using a computer.my motor well make around 400hp.

Good time for an overhaul with new HD clutches in the forward drum, GN Servo, best spend the money now and don't cheap out ! I lost about 6 weeks last spring sorting mine out.

Otherwise there are a handful of guys doing some great work if you want a rebuilt unit.
