Scheduled delivery for tomorrow. But they COULD have done it by today by their pathway. Not a big deal, wife wanted me to order some dog toys so they'll have Christmas presents so check this. I live about 45 minutes west of Columbia, SC. I'm about 2 hours East of Jefferson, GA.

I get that they do some of the things they do for their own deal, but their logistics do not seem logical to me. They have an Amazon warehouse in Columbia, and a USPS sorting facility in Columbia, and they could send it directly to the local PO. They have before. Maybe saved a day, or maybe not. I guess they have their reasons but it surely looks stupid looking on a map. Here's a great time saving idea, "Let's send it almost 3 hours away west, so it can take 2 hours to go east." :wtf: Now it's not a big deal, but it just seems a terrible waste of time and shipping. Maybe to justify that prime membership. Yeah, that's it.

Just expressing some confusion...carry on.

I really liked amazon about 5 years ago but it has gotten significantly worse. I'm pretty much over it. Their "free two day shipping" actually use to mean "two days". And you used to get access to amazon TV and movies and Amazon music when you bought prime, not anymore. The prime membership used to be a steal at $99 a year, and it still would be a steal even at $120 a year, but only if the still included all the other stuff and two day shipping was actually two days. I'm probably still gonna renew my prime membership, but it's not as good of a deal as it once was.

I like offline shopping, I get my product delivered to me seconds after I pay for it.

True, but I enjoy shopping for underwear in my underwear. Can't do that at Walmart.

On a more serious note I bought some toys ($120) at Wally World on Friday, got home and on a hunch checked Amazon.ca and found them cheaper with 2 day shipping - I now have the "replacement" toys (from Amazon) in-hand and $20 back in my pocket. Amazon works well for us diapers and peanut butter (related, not related) are delivered on a recurring schedule since we go through those items so quickly.

I hate retail shopping... it has never been fun.

what makes you different?....🤔

My undies have lace frills?

Hmm. My Prime, I still have access to videos, music, and my shipping is generally 2 days, once in a while I'll get one early - got one delivered today that was supposed to be tomorrow. There are the ones that even with Prime, might get delayed a few days, but that seems to be more around the holidays. Otherwise. But with thousands spent, the shipping savings alone are worth it to me. The Grand Tour is the other reason lol.
