V6 headers mounting question

Yea i know im sorry guys, its exhaust manifolds, that was my fault, i apologize.. i figured they were called the same thing, but i was wrong.. lol

But quick question, would i be able to use like a nail or something long that fits into the holes, and see if there is an end, and measure that way, or is it not possible?

That's actually a very GOOD idea that would take "experts" a long time to think of. 😀

Doesn't have to be exact, just compare the different lengths you get against your bolts to sort out which must go where! (Poke in until it stops centered, that will always be a bit longer than the matching bolt, like maybe a half inch?) I forget if the holes through the manifolds all have the same depth or not, might want to check that.

Anyway that's your best bet, because I cannot find the notes I took. Which was some years ago. Amazing the useless junk I did have, to leaf through looking.
