Some wierd-0 put some variable rate coil springs on the rear of my El camino before I got it. Wondering if this is the cause of the slight excessive height in the rear. The only difference over stock in the rear is the 8.5 rearend From an 87 T-type.(which shouldn't effect ride height). Not sure if putting some used G-body spring would let it down or not. what ya' think. and don't say "why not change them and see". Answer is I have a million things to do on weekends and can only do a couple......life sucks sometime!!!
don't mean to ramble but looks like other ElKy's sit a little lower in the back.

As far as I know, they were supposed to come with variable rate springs. My malibu did and its exactly like the el camino.
