i know you guys must have said this a million times but my car says somethin like 2100pounds for front and 2000pounds for the back. that would mean my 85 cutlass weighs 4100 pounds is this right. i could be reading the door jam label wrong because it is faded. but how much do these cars wiegh? thanks

GBodies should weigh in from 3200 to 3600 (fully optioned out, possibly 4 door or wagon version).

Labels on the doors are cars are generally for the weight of the car plus the recommend maximum payload.

So if say the vehicle weights in at 3,000 lbs and the max payload is 1,000 then the total weight on the sticker will say 4,000 ... for instance.
 
it should be on your title.
They only put gross weights on the titles of trucks, so the cutlass title should have the actual weight on the title.

Like my 84 calais says 336x on the title, which was hard to believe with the aluminum bumper supports, but now that its stripped, when I get it back together, Ill put it on the grain scales for everyone 😀
