Veterans Day

Thank you all for the remembrance and brief duty tours, services that you served. I am honored to hear all. Myself served active duty as nuke Machinist Mate 1st class onboard USS South Carolina CGN37, USS Emory S Land AS39, and last ship USS Bainbridge CGN25. Served from 1980 to 1988. Then joined the Navy reserves in Construction Battalion 24 (known as Sea Bees) there I served as Construction Mechanic 1st class from 1995 until 2009. Both had its ups and downs but never regretted any part of it. Proud to have served and honored to those who still do. Again Thank you all

Thanks to all who served. This day is for remembrance of those that served and what they have accomplished with their service.

And, to not forget those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our benefit.

Happy Veterans Day to my fellow Vets in here. Nice to see a few, I'll drink to that.🍻

USAF Active Duty, 2001-2011, primary job as Fire Protection, or Crash Fire Rescue. Secondary job in the combat zone was teaching and performing actual combat medic support when needed. Stateside training we were a hair short of EMTs so over there they figured that out and used a few of us where needed.

Four Tours in Iraq:

FOB Warrior/Kirkuk Air Base, 2004
Baghdad International Airport/Camp Victory Complex, 2006
Tallil Air Base, 2008/2009
Balad Air Base 2010

Few pics because the woman wanted some..didn't get many over there, lost some on a bad hard drive and we were on the move a bit in some places.

Thanks to ALL past & present, who keep us safe, and protect our freedoms. The family made a trip to our neighborhood park, where they have this awesome memorial.
