Thanks to you guys help this morning i got the top removed.. I believe my car was originally a hardtop.. I found the back window trim under the vinyl. Also the windows fit like hardtop windows. Plus side there is only minimum surface rust
I believe this car was originally a hard top car i had trim under the vinyl on the back window and these are the windows that cameI used acetone to remove the remnants of the glue that they used. I see you already found the seal for the windows and where the filler is for the joint between the quarter panel and roof you'll need to remove that and use a good filler that won't crack or shrink

I still got a lot of body work to do on the roof but i accomplished this much in a few hours..I'm happyif the windows came with that seal then you are right. You won't have to worry about that joint either since on a hardtop they used the good stuff at that joint.
Man, that roof looks WAY better than mine when I pulled the vinyl! Mine was a factory hardtop as well, but the roof was filled with rust pinholes!I still got a lot of body work to do on the roof but i accomplished this much in a few hours..I'm happy
