wagon frame under 2 door malibu

modifying the frame a little bit is fine with me, going to be notching the frame anyways for bigger tires in the rear, and as well I will be adding some braces to stiffen up the frame. Anyways, it looks to me the length is the same, just the body mounts are in a different location, which is fine to me, frame will bolt on in all the other places, just break out the welder and fab up some new mounts....

wheel base is the same apparently..

el camino is the only different frame wheelbase wise,

wagon frames are same as sedans, just different body mounts in the rear

is what I have been told..

I think Im just going to hack off the back of the frame and weld on the wagon frame rails... rather then doing a complete frame swap...

That is, if the back of the frame is rusty and not before the wheel well which I doubt..
