Just record it with your phone's camera (almost typed camera's phone, lol) and there should be a built in youtube app already on most newer phones. Go to the app, sign in if you haven't. The newest version of the app has a little camera icon at the top and if you click it it will pull up your library of videos from your phone's camera. Select away. I suggest making a few test videos (don't have to upload them, but you can if you want) before you go through all that effort of starting the car, walking around it, etc.

I did a pretty thorough video that was 20 minutes long. I used my phone to upload straight to youtube. It took 35 minutes to upload it. After that it processed it for 15 minutes. Then I get a message that said too large, must be less than 15 minutes long. I was done at that point. I did a new video today and it's about 13 minutes long. Have not tried loading it yet. Going to wait and let the wife mess with it. Save me the rage

You might just want to make multiple shorter videos or do a part 1, part 2 etc.
You would be amazed at the short attention span people have watching videos on YouTube.

Might be because it's from a phone. There are videos on youtube that are over 500 hours long. Granted it's just a picture, but still.

What you can do, is if you have a phone charging cable, use that to connect to a computer. Open up the phones files on the computer, do into the DCIM, then to the camera. Find the video, and click and drag it onto the desktop. Go to the youtube mobile site, and drag and drop it from there into the upload section.

There should be prompts when you plug it in, choose to open and view the files.
