Water leaking passenger rug?

Did you check to make sure the wiper cowl under the chrome trim isn't plugged up with debris.

So it's raining a lot today and I go to check on this leak and I found where the water is coming from on the inside of the car and I took pics to show you guys

Now from where it's leaking what is the cause of this and how can I fix it? My car gets parked outside and every time it rains I don't want it to leak inside. Thanks!

Probably the HVAC box to firewall gasket is bad.
