Inside of my car gets wet every time i wash it or when it rains on the passenger side under the glove box and it completely soaks up my carpet ,i don't know what is the problem Any Ideas ???

Either or both the heater box seal, or bad seam sealer on top of the cowl. As originally assembled, the lower windshield molding had black plastic attached to help cover the seam on the cowl. Over time, the plastic crumbles away and the sealer hardens and allows water penetration into the cabin.

Having the same issue with my 88 cut... removing the a/c and heater very soon so hopefully can pinpoint the leak.

sometimes the ac drain gets clogged and that will back up water causing leak, if you can lay under car & find the drain use a piece of wire or better yet air hose and check drain. be prepared for water and debris might come on to you. some of the time that,s the cure as well as what other suggestions. good luck ron

You guys can purchase a new AC/heater box gasket from Mikes Montes. Ive installed two of them and I just bought a third last week for my wagon. Theyre a perfect fit and well under $20.

Yup, Your A/C box drain is probably clogged. Common problem...

My Malibu has this problem, but all the water seems to go into the doors (until I finally cleaned out the drain holes...)

Aside from the A/C drain, there is also a debris drain, at least on my car, under the blower motor on the engine side. There's a little rubber flap you can open and clear it all out. Mine was crammed full of leaves and pine needles

I have no a/c installed should that matter?

No. Whether you have a/c or not, there is a drain just to the left of the blower motor (if you're looking at it from the front.) It will either be a short tube sticking down or just a hole on the underside of the heater box. If you take the cover off of the top of the box, you will be able to see if there's anything in there and be able to reach it.
