I'm trying to convert the accessory drive on my olds v8 to non-AC and I've ran into some issues with the water pump. I thought since I wanted to remove the AC and relocate the alternator to the other side of the engine that I would have to get the corresponding water pump for non-AC applications. Is this true? If so, there are multiple water pumps for non-AC cars that all look different and I don't know which one to get. I bought the one I thought I needed but the new pulley doesn't line up with the others. It sticks out too far. I've either got the wrong pulley or pump or both. Help!!!!??
