I was just taking the seat out because i was in the middle of taking the headliner out and its easier to work with it out of the way, and there was a decent size puddle of water under the passeenger side of the back seat. 😢 Where could this be coming from? Has anyone ever had this problem??

Probably rust on the wheel well. My cutlass did the same thing
x2 Mine does the same thing when driving in heavy rain, floor's solid but there are some small holes right on the edge of the wheel well, not much but enough to let water in.

So I wasn't the only person pouring water on my car!

There is always a little moisture in the trunk, specifically the left side towards the back, its only enough to make the carpet damp. I'm thinking its the trunk seal but I guess I will have to dry it out and do a water test.

I would probably bet that the quarter windows are leaking

Hmmmm... My best guess is now on the trunk lid seal. Any rot in the wheel well as mentioned above?

Rear window. My '87 had a leak on the driver's side rear window that if in a heavy rain was enough to make the carpet in the rear footwell wet.

Get this fixed as soon as possible. I never did anything about it until I tore the car apart to do the frame off and my seat area was ate up with rust. 🙁

I found a bit of surface rust in mine in the same general area. Somewhere I read that Cutlasses have this problem, but other G-bodies do not? Seems possible I suppose, all the quarters are different and the Cutlass is one of the narrower ones, maybe more prone to spray from the tires at speed? At any rate, definitely something worth investigating and fixing before it gets out of hand.
