I found a bit of surface rust in mine in the same general area. Somewhere I read that Cutlasses have this problem, but other G-bodies do not? Seems possible I suppose, all the quarters are different and the Cutlass is one of the narrower ones, maybe more prone to spray from the tires at speed? At any rate, definitely something worth investigating and fixing before it gets out of hand.

yeah definietly. Im doing a water test tommorow once i get the headliner out. I dont think there is any rot in the wheel wells...at least I hope not... 🙁

EDIT: It is the sunroof gasket. I just sat in the car for about a 1/2 and hour while it was raining hard, and its steady coming in under the sunroof. Please let me know if you guys know where I can get a new gasket, I know it is the same one as some of the astro vans.

Is this a factory moonroof? I know those have rubber drain tubes that will dry rot and start leaking.

Yup. Factory power sunroof. It also has the tubes to drain, i checked for that but I haven't got the headliner out yet so they could be leaking I just can't see them that well as of now. I'll post back when I get the headliner out.

Your rear drain tubes running down the Bpillar might be sliced or cracked as well.

Checked that yesterday also. The right rear is pinched, the left rear is plugged, and both the fronts are plugged a little too. The right front spout coming off of the roof is rotted away a little bit too. So it looks like my dad and I will have to remove the sunroof panel, put in a new gasket, replace all of the drain tubes or unclog them, and apoxy up all the rust spots he found so they don't get any worse. But I'm not doing all of that until I get the parts.
