I installed all new weatherstripping on my 79 El Camino last weekend. The only issue I'm having is when I close the doors, the glass crushes the drip rail portion, instead of going under it. It seals well everywhere else. Does anyone have any tips on how to reshape the rubber so it doesn't do this?

Roll the window down a scoche so that it goes under the lip when the door closes? Once the weatherstrip takes a set, maybe this stops happening?
