It's me...part 2/the younger sister of the GBody Sisters!!!!

Hello!! My name is Christine. I am Susan's younger sister who owns the AWESOME 85 Grand Prix!! As she has mentioned earlier today, I have owned my Grand Prix for about 6 years and have been having fun with it. My interior is all original and in mint condition. I have painted it about 5 years ago and then dropped a SWEET 350HO crate engine with shorty headers and am running Dual Flowmaster 40 exhaust on it. It purrs like a kitten!! Currently I am putting a spoiler and also changing my hood to a 4" Cowl Induction hood. I'd like to thank you all for your help this morning with all your great suggestions. I have purchased some chrome hood pins and will make a nice prop rod once I have it all completed. I am then planning to put a bigger air filter on the carburetor since before I had to cram everything under the hood since room was alittle limited with the new engine. Had a hard time containing ALL that power under the hood!!! Heheheheh.....now it will be able to breath soo much better and I think that baby will now have that extra kick on take off. Heheheh....can't wait to test it out!!

I'm very excited to join this forum. I can't wait to talk to you guys!! I'll be posting some pics of my car shortly...and of myself and my sister Sue since there were a few of you asking for pics!! 😀
Christine, WELCOME fellow Canadian and Gbody and Grand Prix owner!!! I'm in love with gbody Grand Prix's and actually owned 5 of them, my current one is number 4 and 5 combined to make one car. Check it out. So glad you joined. Also so glad that you found this forum and ME through Google!!!! I love that you guys have gbody's and I love the Olds 442 but I just can't wait to see the pictures of your stock GP. It makes me weak inside. Welcome Christine!!!!

:friday:

Welcome aboard, Christine.
Nice GP. I like the two tone combination. Looks like you really baby it, too.
Once again, it's nice to have you and Susan on board.

More women should appreciate cars. There would be fewer financial disagreements and divorces. Trips to the junkyard would be considered quality time! Storing car parts inside the house would be a non-issue as well
If she appreciates beer too that's marriage material!

Oh yeah....and welcome aboard!

My wife actually appreciates cars but once I start talking about what I have lined up with my GP, it's like I have to get an interpreter. Being that she's never been around one of these old steel beasts, you should have seen the look on her face the first time she looked under the hood of the car. She carefully leaned in, then realized she wasn't in danger of breaking anything by leaning

And welcome aboard ladies! Another GP too so maybe we're getting popular now? 😀

Hehehe...you guys are too cool!! I'm loving this forum!! Thanks for all your welcomes and comments!! I will have to dig in my books for pics of my GP before it was painted and all stock! It truly did look like a stock car!! Stay tuned....once I find them I'll post them up for you to see. It looked a bit tired I must say, it had over 300 000 kilometers on that old 305!! But I still loved it and still do!!

And yes I do baby it a bit, but don't be deceived I love to race!! Responsibly of course but I'm well known for doing burnouts when I'm at the car meets here in Edmonton!! Mwuahahahaha!!! Hehehe...my evil laugh!! Hhehe....it's not my fault I get a twitch in my foot!!! Heheheh....
