Well This Is No Fun

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
I've been poked and prodded....had a CT scan too. Looks like a 7mm size kidney stone is causing the problems. Still haven't seen the urologist but Rhonda one of my nurses just came and said he's thinking OR tomorrow.

super awesome ! ( sarcasm ). Glad that it's something they can deal with and didn't have to drag you in by ambulance. I've seen kidney stones drop the toughest person to their knees so hang in there

OUCH !!! The biggest Ive had was a 6MM. I had to have a lithotripsy done to get it broken up. Bad side was I had to wait almost a week to have it done. The morning I went to the hospital to have it done I passed out at the counter waiting to sign in. Not a good day.
This year started out almost the same. On the 2nd I wound up in the ER with a stone traveling down from my left kidney. They gave me 2MG of Dilaudid in an hour and a half. My wife was an RN in that ER for close to 30 years. She told me the average dose is 1/2MG for a stone. I was so zooted I didnt even know they took me for a CT stone search. I passed the stone 4 days later. It sucked. I feel your pain. Good luck and I hope you feel better !!

Holy crap. No fun at all. Least they could have done is put you on a gurney with rally wheels.

Yikes- that is painful! Hang in there. Now, you might want to do something about the line of text underneath the picture you posted. Because there you are on a gurney looking, shall we say, "out of it". And there underneath it says "Gone but not forgotten"!!!! I thought the worst before I remembered it was your usual tag.
