why not contact the guys at UMI and see if they can help you out with a shorter A arm

Too late. I ordered the Spohn arms. I always went through UMI in the past, but with a combination of me getting antsy to get the car ironed out and the sale Spohn was having, I decided to give them a shot.

EDIT: UMI does make an adjustable upper now, but it's just as expensive as a fully adjustable SPC arm. A little more expensive actually but it is a different style.

I only saw Spohn adjustable for the F body....do you have the link to the one your ordered?

and did you see these ones, they say its for tall spindle and gives more header clearance so sounds like they are shorter than 8"
