What custom colors look good on a Olds Cutlass G body

What Custom Colors Work With The Olds Cutlass G Body lines ? How about Metalic Orange?

In my mind, any kind of classy, subtle color.

In no particular order:

Black
White/pearl white
Dark burgandy
Dark blue
Silver
Silver/lt. blue
Dark reds and maroons (candies included)

The bright colors like a straight red, yellow, etc just look fugly to me on them. I don't know why but they work fine with the Monte's and Malibus but I think Olds's and Buicks look better with more subdued colors.

I really like the stock color on mine. Dark Jadestone Metallic. If I remember right it was an 81 year only color. Just 30 year old faded paint with some commpound and whatever my neighbor that does auto detailing uses. I think its a real nice color that doesnt shout but looks nice too.

If I wasnt going back to the stock color Id go dark blue, marroon, silver or charcoal grey. For some reason black doesnt flow as nice on Olds's as Regals.

That's a nice color, too bad GM didn't offer it from 82-88.
The Korffs 88 Hurst on http://www.oldsfe3x.com looks awersome in red but it only works on that car.
I saw Docs 88 Hurst two weeks ago and it was painted a pearlescent white which looked very cool.

I've never seen a cutlass with a chameleon paint job, but I think it would look nice. You have alot of different options with the colors. My personal favorite is purple to green. Just an idea.

I don't really like color changing paint on a cutlass. They are too classy for that. Two tones look nice though. The car I saw when I was 14 that made me want a cutlass was silver and black. It was very simple Olds with a custom two tone paint job. After that, I had to have one.
