Why does everyone have a job that sounds better than mine!
I'm an Autobody A-tech in a drp shop. Or as I would call it an hourly rate slave with no benefits or retirement and if I contest it I'll be replaced by an illegal immigrant that doesn't care about all the safety violations in the shop. That's why I'm building my square body crew. I want to take my skills on the road doing welding fabrication media blasting and surface preparation. I'm trying for this spring if I can get a loan for equipment
That sounds like a wonderful goal! I have my fingers crossed for you!

Was a Ink Technician for a flexible printing company for 18 years, Aftermarket automotive radiator assembler until NAFTA ended that, Was temporary labor at Ford Motor Company Buffalo Stamping (Really LOVED that one) and for the past 9 years I work as a CNC Tube bending machine operator for a company "Bent On Perfection".
Sounds pretty "Classic" 😉

Less than 2 weeks into a new career here...estimating exterior finishes/trims for commercial buildings.

Prior to that (and before they closed the facility here) for twenty two and half years I was a Technical Service Rep/Designer for a major PEX (polyethylene cross linked tubing) company.
