Probably about a month ago, I order a cord for my phone, $4.64 on ebay. I used pay pal, but paid as a guest because I hadn't set up the PP account with an actual bank account yet. I did register an email and password with PP with the intentions I would set up a bank account to link the PP to. So I finally receive my product from the seller, it's incorrect. Go through ebay to get it sorted out, and the seller gives me a full refund that will be credited to my PP account. I check my online bank statement first, maybe it's in there since I used my debit card. It's not there, so I try to log into pay pal. I tried maybe 3 passwords to log in Because I couldn't remember, and it says "you account has been permanently locked with a balance of $0.00 USD." I called them today as I haven't had time to do so, and I try to reset my password via phone. I'm thinking it locked me out Because I had too many unsuccessful password attempts. I get through to a guy with a really thick indian accent, he needs the name and email registered w/ the account. But he is telling me the email I gave him is assciated with a different name and country. I made sure he typed my email correctly. He transferred me to the security dept, but I didn't have the time to wait since I was on my break at work. I guess the next step would be to call them again. This just seems weird to me.
