Amen, I am a purist so I would never have done that to a Hurst/Olds.

At least he didn't install a cage. Its a really clean hurst though.

I'm quite passive, and though I respect the care people give to rare models... I could care less about the "Purist" stuff.
... I love what you've done. It brings a reall badass attitude to the already cool Hurst
It's super clean, and stays true to the Hurst look. I love the suttle appearance, and definitly one of the classier drag cars I've seen.

... it gave me a cool Idea though... I once saw a drag Regal, where the guy tubbed the rear, but kept the differencial the stock length. In this way, he could run normal size tires with correct offset for the road, but throw on some 15" wide slicks if he wanted.
... the car was a total sleeper.

I like it, looks good, I had to scroll up and look at it again closely to see it had slicks on it and the trunk had been modded. First glance It looked like a stock Hurst with a fuel cell and NOS (although I can't imagine why someone would want to put a 307 on NoS)
😀

What all did you have to do to get that big of tire under the car? I want to do that to my cutlass but didnt know what size tires and rims to get with the right back spacing and all that. Do you still have a back seat?
