Welcome to the Forum

And that is one sweet Hurst. I think it was done with great taste as far as modding and looks like if someone wanted could put it back without anyone knowing anything was ever changed.

Makes me think of the Shirley Modowney (SP?) movie - Heart Like a Wheel . We are all so quick to jump in and say "damn man thats one sweet car" when actually it should have been "woman"

Great job and lets see somemore pictures of that sweet ride!!

trying to sell this beast still? Saw it on ebay not too long ago. 8) Welcome btw!!

What are the other cars?

Also love how the back seat is still in there and theres not aftermarket gauges everywhere. Good taste!

I guess girls just do wanna have fun

Very cool. 8)

1) also would like to welcome you to the forum

2) very tastefully done car...I love that you've kept the essence of the car what it is, and don't want to hack it up just to go faster 8)

glad to see more women getting into the hobby... my wife has shown a bit of an interest, but I think her dad put it in her mind, that "girls don't do that kind of work". maybe more women in the hobby can change minds like my wife's!

Damn nice car! Dont listen to the "purists", build YOUR car the way YOU want it!

I never said that it wasn't a nice car, because it is a very nice car. Just not what I would have done. I said that I wouldn't do that but that is just me and anyone can do what they want with their car thats whats great about cars you make them for yourself and not for anybody else. I learned a long time ago that if you try to make you car to please other people you will never be happy with it. I like to keep most of my cars stock because that is what I like. I meant no disrespect with my earlier comment. It is a very nice car and it was done extremely well and looks great. I would rather see people doing things like that with these cars than the ones that just sit and rust away. So yes congratulations on being the owner of a great piece of Oldsmobile history, and welcome.

welcome to the site, car looks excellent, very well done
