what drop spindles will work

I have a 79 Monte and have been looking around and just want to double check that all g body spindles are the same around the year 79. summit racing, jegs and ebay usually have drop spindles for like Malibu's but that should be the same front suspension as my Monte i believe. I even read that even certain year s10 have the same spindles as g body's. Any helpful info would be great. thanks

How much work is it to change spindles and what new parts are needed? 4 new ball joints?

if the ball joints are good no need changing them....it's not hard to change a spindle, with hand tools probably an hour per side..your local parts retailer will probably have free tool rental for a ball joint splitter

On a side note, s-10 spindles are usually cheaper too.

If it was me i would replace the ball joints you are already there why do it twice.

If you use the "pickle fork" balljoint seperator your likely to break the seal anyway so get new ones i say, Chevy blazer spindles will work with stock balljoints and A-arms, 2 inch drop and fit bigger disc brakes.

If it was me i would replace the ball joints you are already there why do it twice.

it's easy to check the ball joints so why spend time and money to change a part that is still good?
