B E E R!

It can be hot or cold, you can be happy or pissed, be broke or have a wad of cash....doesn't matter!

PROGRESS

The single most important motivator of all. When you move to the next step ... or fire the first engine up that you ever built ... buying something new for it. These are just a couple of great motivators 8)

well said sir...

Looking on all the updates you guys post here.. But the damn cold has kept me from doing much to my GP...plus I NEED a welder and all kinds of other crap that takes my GP's Money So far the motivator is collecting the parts i need i guess..

well when it s cold i dont go out in work on the car much but i do bering parts in the house and work on them all the time in the winter.when it comes to the things i want to do just wanting to see it done gets me motivated.but when it comes to the things that frustrates me alls i need is a 12 pack and a baggy to get motivated to turn some nuts in bolts

Doubt: if someone says I can't, it puts me into machine mode.

Deadlines/goals: If I set a rough deadline or goal for a project, it gives me a reason to stay motivated.

Beer:

Metal: Crank up the tunes, Saturday night is metal night, (well every night is, lol), two local radio stations have heavy metal shows. One starts at 9pm runs til 12 (kickass show, if you're a metal fan check it out, they stream live http://www.95x.com/) at midnight starts the other radio stations show, runs til 6 am, it used to be awesome, but latley they've gone emo  , bastards. Usually I can only stand it til about 2 or 3am, unless they have a good run going, then there's nothing like having your last beer for the night watching the sunrise  .
Yeah I'm a little warped
