basically what is a good price on a used msd 6a that bench tests ok. i found a used 6a box with a used blaster 2 coil for $65. is this a good deal?

it would be hooked to a msd e curve distributor. i have the dist, just need a coil to make it work. figured id go ahead and get a box if i could find one for the right price.

For $65 with a coil i would say thats a good deal. As long as like you said it is good.

It seems to test fine to me. Can someone verify this?

Also what's people opinions on the mallory promaster coil?

It looks like it works well, so if the price is good for you, I'd go ahead. I USED to get them cheap like $25 but they have really jumped up in price lately.

Well I think I'm going to snag the box for $45 and pass on the coil. I found a new coil and would cost me $5 more. Just stuck between the blaster 2 and blaster SS

What's wrong with the HEI coil? You can get super-duper ones too.

Hei coil? I sold my mallory hei and have a msd digital e curve that ill be running so I need a coil

the e curve distributor he's using does not have the coil in the cap..

Yep beat me to it. Didnt know I announced I got the e curve. Honestly excited to get the motor back together with the new heads, roller cam and new ignition
