Ok, you guys are all awesome....with your help , I have a definite answer...unfortunatly, it is not an L69...it is in fact a 1987 Lg4, armed with info from your posts,and A LOT of google seaching, i stumbled upon gmpartswiki.com. They have suffix codes and vin codes for the 80s and early 90s. I cant believe there are not listings for these engines on the regular code sites...this should help alot of us gbody enthusiasts in the future! Gmpartswiki.com....parts and accessories catalog 17w dated june 1991.... They also list suffix #s for the L69 and others... Thanks again for the help guys!
