in the Desert!
OK guys so I lost my phone in the car and while searching I found this? I had to peice it together like a puzzle lol and in the process sliced a finger! Why the F! did they put this between the the seat cushion and the metal brace! anyhow what info in this can be usefull to know?

its the build sheet, it tells ya what all the options yer car was built with and where it was built. nice find!
 
So Im assuming the GU1 option that says 2.41 ratio max is my gear ratio 🙁

Yep. Unless someone somewhere along the line replaced them with something else.
 
I found one under my back seat but wasnt sure what it was so its still there. May have to go get it tomorrow and figure it out.
 
I was pulling parts of a 85 GP and found the build sheets behind the door panel... Pretty interesting!
 
That is one of the most important pieces of paper you can have with a numbers matching original car.
They put that under the rear seat. Before they started to put RPO tags in the trunk.
It is the assembly line check sheet , they cross checked that against the original order for the car's assembly.
Most people call it the build sheet. .Keep whats left of it in a plastic cover with the paper work you have with the car.
 
Mine was under the passanger side front seat between the cusion and the metal backing of the seat.
