This thing was laying under my wiper motor. It appears to have been broken from its original mounted location. The wires hooked to it weren't very long, so it couldn't have been mounted to far away.
What is this?

I has no ports coming from it. Just the 2 wires connected to it. It looks like some type of solenoid :?
can you trace the wires back to where they come from......or unplug it and see what stops working...
The wires go to the little junction block mounted to the firewall underneath the brake booster and wiper motor. I have never been able to find anything that won't work with it unpluged :?
I will hook my battery back up tomorrow and check to see if the wipers work with it disconnected. I wanna say that I have checked it but I could be wrong :idea:
you could turn the wipers on and see if there is power to the wires...I wonder if it has something to do with an alarm from a previous owner
