I'd like to think of myself as being hardcore g-body by nature but there's a few other cars I want to do some playing around with.

Ever since I was in high school I've liked the 76-79 Caddy Sevilles. For a long time I wanted to do a 455 Olds swap into one since they come with FI 350 olds already. As of recently the idea of an LS swap sounds even better. I never knew these were based on modified 75-79 Nova X-bodies until I started doing some digging. Short wheel base, TH400, fuel injected already and very unsuspecting. Here's one I really like http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/c ... 90906.html

Another car I'd like to do something LS based with is the the 79-85 Toros/Eldos/Riv. I think it would be an interesting car with a 4.8 or 5.3. I really like the '83 Riv's interior & chrome wheels, the Eldo Biarritz and the '80 Toro XSC or the '84/85 Calientes.

I have a foot on either side of the pond when it comes to cars, i love american muscle, but i also dig german cars too, i have owned two bugs a 66 and 69, and i just recently picked up a 91 bmw 535i 5speed that needs work, it needs struts, clutch, and minor body work for a little rust hole under the passenger mirror, it will be great once those get done

I had a brief stint with MkII water-cooled VW's myself. I had a '91 GTI, '87 Jetta Coupe, and a few other 4 door Jettas. They were fun, fuel efficient little cars but it seemed like I did more wrenching than driving, especially with the GTI.

Vet, theres a offwhite 84 Riv in decent shape w/ only minor rust near my house for $1200 and nobody buying it run/drive but overheats after a while supposedly. In northwest indiana^

I have a 93 Fleetwood that I'd love to see a LT-1 w/ dual and pop up on some bags but I dont actually see it happening in the next year or two.

I had 89 Riv couple years ago, and I really wanted to put the 3.8Supercharged from a park ave/ 90s riv into it, but I only could find about half the parts to do the swap so I didnt proceed with the idea. Someone blew all the windows out of it a couple months later - lucky I didnt waste my money on that idea

I have got a few projects I would love to do
1. Late 80's early 90's Mustang with GN running gear
2. Early 80's Chevette with GN running gear
3. 88-90 Z24 Cavalier on an S10 frame with GN running gear
I have a spare complete GN drivetrain just need to find a home for it

That's one I'd love to do

My current project, 88 Cherokee, I've been working on it since July, almost a complete teardown and rebuild. Next year, I may start on my 84 AMC Eagle. Not sure exactly what direction I'll be going with it, I'm kinda thinking about giving it some more grunt, heavier suspension, brakes, etc and using it as my tow vehicle  . Not long hauls, but if I want to take the malibu to the track, or take my jeep to an offroad event, it would be nice to not have to drive it there, and worry about breaking the damn thing all day. That car will get pretty much a full teardown and rebuild as well, but I may actually take my time with it and not try to cram all the work in one year  , that will be a new concept for me, hahaha.

Early 80's Chevette would be nice.

Once the kids have grown up a little more I want a 1971 c-10 Cheyenne with a more modern LS drivetrain and all the options like power windows. locks, A/C ect...

Im currently working on saving to build my 65 pontiac tempest, that one is going to be just plain stupid when finished. I was also bitten by the german bug and would love to pick up another 80s 3 series to build up to be something nice. Of course ill have to pick up an olds g-wagon sometime and probably do an old school big block build for that one as a halfway streetsleeper.

Here's two on my mental drawing board:
#1. A small handmade micro van body on a VW bug pan with an electric motor conversion. I'd do the framework from steel square tubing, skin the inside with aluminum for rigidity and the outside in wood. Picture a woody version of a Subaru 360 van like this. I probably wouldn't need to go quite so low.

#2. Since my Datsun 1200 is for sale, I may or may not be keeping the parts car. It's essentially a rolling shell with glass anyway. Id love to build something similar to this but with a VW IRS rear and the engine in the back. Would probably weigh in at under 1000# when done. I think 200hp and a sequential shift would be pretty fun. My driver is maybe 60hp and can be dangerous. Make sure your audio is turned on 😀 .
