I ran a universal Griffin radiator in my last Malibu. It was the 31x19. No major modifications to make it work. No quality issues at all. Cost me 179. Only reason I don't have it is because of a short departure in to V8 S10's instead of G-Body's.
Now I have a triple pass Summit Racing radiator. Same size 31x19, although this one was a tad tall. It still fit though. Think I paid the same 179 on sale. Again no quality issues. Happy with either one especially given the cost.

Do you have a part #?

Thanks again all for your input it is very much appreciated

I believe this is the Griffin. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/gri-1 ... /overview/

you're gonna have issues making that 33" wide radiator fit...
My friend is using one, and after seeing the quality of his, it made be decide against it and get the Champion
What is the widest I can fit without issue?
the factory radiator is 31" x 19"
the height you don't have to worry about so much; between 18" to 19" you can make it work
as I mentioned in my other posts, the sides of the factory radiator tanks are rounded and slip nicely down in between the core-support on the car.

if you go 31" or wider with a thicker radiator, you will have interference issues in this area, you might have to cut or hammer out the sides of the core-support.
My 31" radiator just barely fit, it had to scrap down inbetween the sides of the core-support.
in hind-site, I think a 29" or 30" wide radiator would have caused less trouble
