I paid to have it done. I didn't want the head ache so i can't answer the mechanical aspects of this for you. The cost wasn't that bad either in the scheme of things

I think my transmission was rebuilt once, not sure, gotta check the book I have of everything that was done to it. So what gears would you recommend?

2004R? I think. It's a stock 87 Regal "T" package with the 307 so whatever it came with which I think is the 2004R. And what are you asking for the crossmember?
