Don't misunderstand me, I own 2 Grand Prixs, and am looking at no.3. I prefer them to all other Gbodys. And people offer to buy my Monte Carlo all time, until I tell them I don't own a Chevy. Thats what I meant, I see a comparable Monte or Regal sell for half again what a GP does. It is what it is. I'm not complaining tho, that's how I got the two I have.

I laugh and correct people as well when they tell ask me about my "Monte"... I agree with you Xamot i actually have owned 3 gbody GP's and Monte's 78&79 or 80 can't remember  , 4dr malibu, 81 regal and have liked the GP the best! 8) though here it's the opposite the go for half of what other G body's go for... But even in aftermarket support there isn't much if anything for GP's!

OK so if the car is worth $500 as it sits, what do you think the car is worth with a couple garbage bags of parts too? Maybe $700 if you're lucky? Sell the car by itself for a certain price and make the buyer buy parts for extra. Then sell each left over part individually to the guys on here and the rest on Ebay.

When it's time, you just gotta let stuff go!

I have a hard time letting go, if I do I gotta make sure I can get it back or just don't have attachment. I only regret trading my ae86 because after it left people were willing to give me a nice price, which figures. And I had all kinds of people saying my car was a monte when I first got it, its crazy to me because I don't think they look alike much at all

If you have to make sure you can get the car back, then it doesn't sound to me like you're ready to let it go. I also have a hard time letting cars go, because when I do, I know they're gone. Before I sell it, I either have to be mentally done with it, or I have to keep it until I am. So do you think you'll never get to it? Do you not plan to ever arrange your life so you can fix it up? If not, then it's time to cut ties and let it go to someone who will fix it up. I have noticed personally that when I struggle over selling a car, and I finally make up my mind to let it go, I feel much better about it once it's gone. It's a load off my mind. But like I said, I'd never sell a car unless I was sure I was done with it, otherwise I'd be kicking myself forever.

So what parts in particular is everyone after. Knowing this could make my decision easier. Thanks!
