$625 COMPLETE!! Can't go wrong for the price. The smaller the intake runner the more torque. Not to say a 170cc runner doesn't make HP, it does, but it does favor the lower RPM range (below 6,000) For a street engine you don't really want over a 180cc runner head. AFR 195's are KILLER heads, but come at a killer price.... $1400 complete pair.

You've got a good setup, but it could be better. Your only real mistake was the cam at this point in time. The Comp XE262 you had was better suited to your heads & compression. But as a motorhead myself, I bet you wanted a "lumpier" idleing cam, right??

Go with a Hughes.. They are the best off the self convertors. period. Call them up for tech info too.. they're very helpful.

ok so edelbrock recomends a 2500 stall for that converter and all the converter companies say 3500 to 4000, but edlebrock says i should get best et gains with a 3,70 rear axle ratio and 2500 stall. so i geuss that solves it.

I don't want to blow my own horn, but...... told 'ya so, told 'ya so!!! 😛

well just goes to show this man knows torque converters
