what you recomend? 3.8 to 350

So the time has come to get rid of the 3.8l. I acquired a 350 4bolt main block had to get it bored .40 over cause of the last guy not oiling the block. Just going for a mild build cams and heads. But I need to know what type of piston heads and cam you guys recommend looking for 300 to 350 HP ball park. Most importantly what type of pistons.

For what you are wanting , personally I'd go with a crate motor . You'll save money in the long run.

Hey , bro lot of different options you can go with . And if you are going to do it yourself or take it to a machine shop .

Guessing street . Lot of pkgs available . Call jegs or Summit . They will set you up.

Reason I say this, from experience you can over guess everything ! If your going drag race different story. But sounds like you want a streetable motor. Your going to be asked alot of questions , basically on what your plans are. A simple rebuild with flat top pistons say 9.5 to 1 , a nice lil cam like a crane Saturday night special . Hydraulic lifters , roller rockers . You'll be good

Piston brand depends on your budget . Mahle is brand of choice personally. But srp and others make some decent stuff. I don't think your going to need forged, hypereutectic will do.
