I put it on FB for 800 let someone beat me down On the price abit ,can't wait to put the turbo hood on the dirt track car gonna look bad *ss on there, car has some other goodies too
I bought a 68 and 69 Toro complete 30 years ago for $500. The 69 ran and the 68 rolled over. I put the 69 (after rebuild) in my 79 Cutlass and am still sitting on a 68 455 with a forged crank. They both came with the big C heads.I sold my 455 olds running, complete with trans with a rattle can rebuild 6 years ago for $250. It sat for MONTHS on CL.
They come up for sale for $200-600 in MN/ND/IA for me every month or so. Winter is slower.
In the LS world we live in these days, the demand is down and most need a rebuild so the real answer is not much unless its a 68-70 ish with good heads. Smog era stuff near the lower end of the price range.
That was 30 years ago when everything was cheap , Muncie transmissions were probably 100$ then lolI bought a 68 and 69 Toro complete 30 years ago for $500. The 69 ran and the 68 rolled over. I parted out the Toro's and made a few grand on the deal. One of the best deals I ever made. 👍That was 30 years ago when everything was cheap , Muncie transmissions were probably 100$ then lol
